How to Install WordPress on Your Hosting Account Print

JFOCloud makes installing WordPress quick and easy using Softaculous, a one-click installer built into your cPanel.

BEFORE YOU START:
Make sure your domain is already pointing to JFOCloud nameservers and has fully propagated.

STEP BY STEP:

1. Log into your cPanel
Visit: https://yourdomain.com/cpanel

2. Scroll down to the "Software" section
Click on "Softaculous Apps Installer"

3. Find WordPress
Click on the WordPress icon or search for
"WordPress" in the search bar

4. Click "Install Now"

5. Fill in the installation details:
• Choose Protocol: https:// (recommended)
• Choose Domain: select your domain
• In Directory: leave blank to install on
your main domain, or type a folder name
e.g. "blog" to install at yourdomain.com/blog
• Site Name: your website name
• Site Description: a short description
• Admin Username: choose something other than "admin"
• Admin Password: use a strong password
• Admin Email: your email address

6. Scroll down and click "Install"

7. Wait for the installation to complete
This usually takes 1–2 minutes

8. Once done, you will see two important links:
• Your website URL: https://yourdomain.com
• Your WordPress admin: https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin

LOGGING INTO WORDPRESS:
Go to https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin
Enter the username and password you set during installation.
